Hands-On Physics Workshops
Join us for hands-on physics workshops where students can build, experiment, and discover how physics works in the real world.
Electricity & Magnetism Workshop
Saturday, October 24 · Atlas Church
Join STEAM Labs on October 24th from 3:00-5:00 pm at Atlas Church filled with fun, hands-on physics workshops, led by experienced high school students passionate about STEM! In this workshop, we will have live demonstrations and students will be able to explore the properties of electricity and magnetism by building their own electric motor. Through these activities, students will discover how electromagnetic induction makes motors work. Our goal is to foster curiosity among younger students in STEM subjects while building a solid foundation for future science subjects. All materials will be provided for free, and students will be able to take their projects home!

STEAMLabs: A Hands-on Introduction to Physics
Monday-Friday, August 3-8 · After School Learning Tree
STEAMLabs Introduction to Physics Course (12:00-2:00 pm): An introductory hands-on physics class taught by high school students accepted to highly selective summer programs, intended to introduce younger students to the joy of learning physics. We will cover fundamental concepts ranging from mechanics to electricity and magnetism to waves and light through engaging lessons, live demonstrations, and take-home crafts. Our goal is to foster curiosity and help students view physics not as a burden, but as an exciting and accessible subject while building a strong foundation for future physics classes.
